The City of Lights, Paris!

Bonjour from Paris, my final destination.

The city is just as I remembered it. I have been to Notre Dame and saw the light show on the Eiffel Tower last night. My hotel is literally one block from the base of the Tower.

This moroning I found out that Paris has this bike rental system where you leave a credit card deposit, and ride anywhere you want. All you have to do is drop it off at these automated stands all over the city. It is awesome. Also, this afternoon, there was a 50s rockabilly band playing for tips on the bridge behind Notre Dame. Porkpie hats and everything. There was a woman on drums. They rocked!

I'll try to upload some pictures later on. I have a lot. I am going out to Monet's house and gardens in Giverny tomorrow. I can't wait!

Au revour,

Scot

Can't believe you'd go to Paris instead of come to mom's to be visited by aimee and her crew of porch monkeys for mother's day. :)))
